Why Aromatic Treasures Has to Work

I've spent my whole working life doing things for other people.

Clock in. Follow the rules. Don't question too much. And always remember — no matter how hard you work, how much you care, or how good you are at what you do — someone above you can end it all over something small, on any given day, without warning.

I've never been able to stay in a job longer than two years. Not because I'm lazy. Not because I don't work hard. But because I cannot stand being controlled. I cannot stand managers who sit on your back, micromanage every move, and treat you like a liability instead of a person. The kind of people who wield the threat of firing like it's the only power they have — because it is.

I got tired of being someone's minimum wage slave.

Right now, I'm still working for someone — I drive for Wolt as a courier. And honestly? It's the most freedom I've had in a job. No one sits on my back. I decide when I work. But it's still someone else's platform, someone else's rules, someone else's ceiling.

Aromatic Treasures is the way out.

I wasn't always someone who cared about this

Honestly? Until the start of 2026, I didn't pay much attention to grooming. Two bars of whatever soap was cheapest at the shop. Deodorant when I remembered. That was it.

Growing up, like a lot of people, I went through a phase of drowning myself in Lynx — that spray everyone used in school, especially in the UK. You know the one. It's everywhere, it's cheap, and it smells aggressively, unmistakably fake. Like someone described "fresh" to a machine and the machine did its best.

I didn't think there was an alternative. I thought that's just what products smelled like.

Then I started actually paying attention — to ingredients, to essential oils, to what "natural" actually means versus what gets marketed as natural. And I couldn't go back.

Once you smell real frankincense in a carrier oil against your skin, Lynx Africa doesn't really have a case anymore.

It started with a love of real ingredients

I was frustrated with perfumes full of alcohol and synthetic chemicals that disappear by noon. I was tired of soaps with ingredient lists that read like a chemistry exam.

So I started making my own.

Frankincense. Myrrh. Cedarwood. Vanilla. Sandalwood. Carried in golden jojoba oil — no alcohol, no shortcuts. Castile soaps made from olive oil, shea butter, and coconut oil. Ingredients you can understand. Products you can trust.

That became Aromatic Treasures.

The stakes are real

This isn't a hobby. This isn't a side project. This is the plan — the only one I have, and the only one I want.

Building a brand from scratch is relentless. Formulating products, designing labels, learning logistics, figuring out SEO late at night — there's no manager to blame if it goes wrong, and no safety net if it doesn't work.

But for the first time, the outcome depends on me. On the quality of what I make. On whether I show up every day and do the work.

I'd rather fail on my own terms than succeed on someone else's.

Aromatic Treasures is handcrafted in Estonia. Every bottle is made by hand. Every formula is something I stand behind completely. And every single order matters more than you probably know.

If you've found your way here — thank you. You're part of why this works.

There's a parable I keep coming back to — the parable of the talents. The servant who buried what he was given to keep it safe lost everything. The ones who went out and used what they had, risked it, built with it — those were the ones who were trusted with more.

I don't want to be the one who buried it.

Whatever happens next, I know I gave this everything I had.

"For to everyone who has, more will be given, and he will have an abundance."
