Two New Blends on the Horizon: Rose & Sandalwood and Bergamot & Cedarwood
Share
The art of pairing essential oils is, at its heart, the art of contrast and harmony.
At Aromatic Treasures, every blend we create starts with a question: what happens when two very different scents find each other? Our current collection — built around the ancient resins of Frankincense and Myrrh — was born from that question. And now, two new pairings are taking shape in our workshop.
We're not ready to launch them yet. But we think you deserve a first look.
🌹 Rose & Sandalwood — The Romantic
Few combinations in perfumery are as timeless as Rose and Sandalwood. Rose brings the bloom — bright, honeyed, and unmistakably floral. Sandalwood brings the warmth — creamy, woody, and skin-close in a way that makes a fragrance feel like it belongs to you.
Together, they create something that opens with the freshness of a rose garden and settles into a deep, intimate warmth that lasts for hours. It's romantic without being heavy. Luxurious without being loud.
We're working with Rosa Damascena (Rose Otto) and Santalum Album (Mysore Sandalwood) — two of the most prized raw materials in natural perfumery. The result is a blend that sits firmly in the luxury tier, and we're taking our time to get it exactly right.
Who it's for: Anyone who loves warmth, florals, and a scent that evolves beautifully on the skin throughout the day.
🍋 Bergamot & Cedarwood — The Fresh One
If Rose & Sandalwood is the romantic, Bergamot & Cedarwood is the one you reach for on a clear morning.
Bergamot — the citrus behind Earl Grey tea — opens with a brightness that's immediately uplifting. It's green, slightly floral, and unmistakably fresh. Cedarwood grounds it: dry, woody, and quietly confident. As the bergamot fades, the cedar takes over, leaving a clean, airy warmth that works on any skin, any season, any occasion.
This is our most unisex blend to date. It's the kind of fragrance that doesn't announce itself — it simply makes you smell like you've got it together.
We're using Citrus Aurantium Bergamia (furanocoumarin-free for safe skin application) and Cedrus Deodara (Himalayan Cedarwood) — the same cedarwood that anchors our Classic and Luxury blends.
Who it's for: Anyone who finds heavy florals or resins too much, and wants something clean, fresh, and effortlessly wearable.
When Can You Get Them?
These blends are still in development — we're working through formulation, safety testing, and sourcing before anything goes to market. That's the Aromatic Treasures standard: nothing launches until it's right.
